Endodontics deals with conditions affecting tooth pulp and the tissues surrounding the root of a tooth. Specialist dental surgeons, called Endodontists, carry out procedures such as Root Canal Therapy, Endodontic Retreatment, and Surgery to treat such conditions.

If you experience painful sensations when you drink hot or cold drinks or when any particular tooth is acutely painful upon biting on it, it is advisable to consult an experienced Endodontist as your teeth may be in the process of developing a root canal problem. He or she would then advise you on whether you need to undergo Root Canal Therapy.
